About Wellness SLC
Wellness SLC was founded in 2019 with the intent of teaching children healthy eating habits and reducing childhood obesity. The initial programming was based upon several week-long summer camps for children and teens. Programs extended to community classes at the Glendale Library. Sadly, the programs were temporarily on hold due to the pandemic. Recent changes have allowed me to reopen my doors and extend my services to everyone – not just kids.
Wellness SLC wants to improve the health of the community, reduce obesity, and create healthy habits that last a lifetime. Using evidence-based strategies, Wellness SLC teaches skills that empower others to make healthier life choices. Activities are fun, inclusive, and engaging. All recipes are easy, simple, and made from fresh, whole foods..
